Introducing myself: Laia.

My name is Laia Fontelles and I’m sixteen years old.  I live in La Pobla de Segur, a small village located in the north-west of Catalonia. I study in the unique High school of the village, the INS La Pobla de Segur.

Like every teen, I have lots of hobbies, but one of my favourite ones is skiing. I think skiing is a way to desconec from the every day rutine. Another one is football. Here in La Pobla rather girls play in a team.

But I don’t only love sports. I like sciences too. Specially technology and physics. What’s more, last year I  participated in the First Lego League championship, an international project in which we had to work with robots design and schematize scientific projects. We invented a kind of sensor which was used by blind people for indicate them the condition of the fruit and vegetables.

So, it will be great if we won this project and we could travel to England, because if we go all together it will be a very productive scientific experience!
