Now a day, pollution is prejudicing everybody, but specially babies who
have just born.
A new investigation adverts us that exist a direct relationship between
newborns and environmental pollution. As more pollution, more under-weighted
babies.
Environmental Health Perspectives has looked over a lot of births in
nine different countries around the world. The study is about the smallest
particles which are generated by cars, heatings and energy generator plants.
This study gives us much more information about how babies will be
during their lives, and it’s really horrible! Most of the babies may die during
the first year. Most of others have rather more possibilities to suffer
diabetes or tachycardia’s throughout their lives.
After studying the pollution levels in America, Europe, Asia… scientist approach
the prejudice in what women are exposed during their pregnancy. As year after
year levels of pollution keep going up babies are losing between 1-3% of their
weight par year.
Now, scientists have an alarming new trouble. Nobody knows how pollution
affects the baby. Professor Morello-Forch speculates that it’s maybe the
oxidative-stress.
This kind of stress starts with an instability between oxygen and the immunologic
system, which protects the women’s body.
These days, everybody knows that the only and necessary way to stop that
problem, is by reducing pollution in all over the world. It’s not an easy task,
but it’s possible!
